India will no longer tour to Pakistan for subsequent month’s Champions Trophy but skipper Rohit Sharma will visit the neighbouring country, media reports have said.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hasn’t yet showed if Rohit Sharma will travel to Pakistan but according to IANS, the 37-year-antique will make the journey to wait the opening ceremony, the information agency stated, citing resources.

The Champions Trophy will be performed from February 19 to March nine with eight groups — Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, and South Africa, alongside hosts Pakistan — collaborating inside the competition.

Although Pakistan are the hosts, India will play all their suits in the UAE. Dubai will host India’s games.

The starting ceremony of the Champions Trophy is probably to take place on February 16 or 17.

India will face-off against Pakistan on the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, known as the ‘Ring of Fire’, on February 23.
